Another Skinzip® success

The plan to expand Lisbon airport arose from the need to support the growth of traffic and increase the international competitiveness of the airport. We were in charge of the metallic construction and covering coatings of this important work. The total coverage area of this intervention was 17390m2, for a total of 1200 tons of metal structure. The coverings of the work were done with an innovative system that has been much appreciated by architects and designers, the Skinzip® system. The application of the Skinzip® system in the coverage of the North Pier, allowed a substantially improved thermal and acoustic comfort, that was hard to achieve with other solutions.
