Blocotelha on the verge of completing a €27 million project in the Paris region
It is expected that 2023 will mark the conclusion of the construction of the new Energy Recovery Unit (UVE) for domestic waste in Ivry/Paris XIII, which relies on the company’s sophisticated solutions
Blocotelha, a European reference company in metallic constructions, signed a contract with the metropolitan agency for household waste in the Île-de-France region (Syctom), for the construction and implementation of sophisticated structures in the new Energy Recovery Unit (UVE) for waste in Ivry/Paris. The work, which represents a turnover of €27,000,000 for Blocotelha, entered the last phase of construction in 2023, which is estimated to be completed in July of this year. More than 40 professionals were assigned to this project, responsible for the installation of 4,000 tons of highly sophisticated metal structures, coverings in steel, aluminum and glass, and very technical facades, produced in the industrial center of Porto de Mós.
According to Luís Meneses, CEO of Blocotelha “We are proud to register our participation in an international project of this size and complexity, with a direct impact on the city of Paris, but with global visibility. Blocotelha’s mission is to seek excellence in metal constructions, capable of meeting the highest technical and technological standards that respond to the challenges presented, and being able to make our contribution in projects that are aligned with this ideal is highly rewarding.”
